A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

I am a former Teacher of A-Level Media Studies I found this to be the best training for becoming an Assistant Director!

I continue to Guest Speak at Film Festivals where I offer a series of presentations about Film Production, identifying the processes used, the resources available to Film Makers, how to choose the right equipment and how to apply for funding.

I am also an exhibiting Artist; I have continued to pursue my interest in photography, with particular emphasis on studies that explore the possibilities of time-based installation. This has included Camera Obscura and pinhole photography, as a means of expressing time through a still image.

My achilles heel would be my beloved Wigan Athletic; all I can say is if only they played with as much enthusiasm as we supported them, we’d be top of the Premiership by now - they redefine the word frustration…but oh boy when they do get it right…….!
